American company Winnebagoⓘ has officially unveiled the new off-road motorhome Arka, adding to its Backcountry Series. The model is built on a Ram 5500 Crew Cab frame chassis with all-wheel drive and a diesel engine, can tow trailers up to 6.8 tonnes, and is designed for temperatures from -23°C to +49°C.
Thanks to a 48-volt electrical architecture with a 16.8 kWh lithium-ion battery, 800 W of deployable solar panels, and a 227 L water tank, the camper provides full autonomy for 14 days. The interior accommodates six people, with four sleeping berths. A notable feature is the toilet compartment behind a curtain near the bed, which has raised privacy concerns.
The starting price is $331,901 (according to other sources, 332 thousand dollars).
