Winnebago Industries is America's best-known motorhome and campervan manufacturer, founded in 1958 in Forest City, Iowa. The name "Winnebago" has become a generic term in American English for any large Class A motorhome.
Winnebago Industries also owns Grand Design (towables), Chris-Craft (boats) and Newmar (luxury coaches). Its range spans compact Class B vans (Solis) to large Class A diesel pushers (Adventurer). Winnebago is among the largest motorhome manufacturers in North America.
