US startup Evotrex has unveiled the PG5 caravan with its own powertrain that can recharge the towing EV. The caravan features a 43 kWh battery, 1.5 kW solar panels, and a 75 kW gasoline generator, delivering up to 270 kWh of usable energy per cycle. The RangeBoost system supports DC charging at up to 60 kW and AC at 6.6 kW. However, the gasoline generator undermines the eco-friendly claim. The base Pioneer trim starts at $119,990, while the top Atlas version reaches $159,990. Production is expected by late 2025, with first deliveries in 2027. European availability remains uncertain due to the NACS connector, homologation issues, and high costs.
