Germany's Foreign Office has updated its travel advice for Sweden, noting that break-ins and robberies targeting motorhome and caravan owners are no longer rare, even on official campsites. In August 2025, 15 incidents were recorded in the Gothenburg region. The office recommends storing digital copies of documents, avoiding cash, staying at guarded campsites, and securing vehicles with additional locks.
