The authority reports that break-ins and attacks on motorhome and caravan owners in Sweden are widespread, including on official campsites. Particularly dangerous are transit routes in the south and west of the country, including the ferry ports of Malmö and Trelleborg, as well as the E6 highway. In August 2025, police recorded a series of about 15 similar crimes in the Gothenburg area.
