On Wednesday afternoon, a fire broke out near the stove in a motorhome at a campsite in Krems, Lower Austria. Two campers who noticed the blaze attempted to extinguish it with fire extinguishers but suffered smoke inhalation and were hospitalized. A third woman experienced circulatory collapse and was also taken to the hospital. Firefighters opened a section of the side wall to locate the fire, disconnected the power supply, and removed a gas cylinder; the cause of the fire is under investigation by police.
