Dutch campers left without motorhomes after flood in Oliva

Two Dutch couples staying at a campsite in Oliva, Valencia, were evacuated after flooding submerged their motorhomes. The four pensioners from Asten, who had been at the Eurocaming campsite for five weeks, had to leave in the early hours of Monday when water rose to about 1.5 metres. Their vehicles are completely unusable, and they are waiting at a municipal centre for the motorhomes to be towed to the Netherlands and for insurance paperwork to be settled.
