Accident in Tyrol
On Sunday, January 18, 2026, a serious accident occurred at a campsite in Grän, Tyrol, Austria. A 75-year-old woman fell and was run over by the caravan driven by her 77-year-old husband. According to some reports, she was walking while he was maneuvering onto the site; others say the incident happened while attempting to enter the campsite.
The woman sustained severe leg injuries and was airlifted by helicopter to a hospital in Germany. The case has been referred to the public prosecutor's office.
