On Sunday morning at Kop van 't Land, the driver of a mini camper with a caravan forgot to apply the handbrake when getting out. The vehicle rolled off the ferry ramp, hit a fence, and came to rest on the stones of the bank. A passenger and a dog jumped out in time. The driver was checked by ambulance staff, recovery took until after 11 a.m., and ferry service was suspended.
