On Saturday morning at a campsite in Bollendorf, Rhineland-Palatinate, a woman lost control of her motorhome and drove into the Sauer River. The driver and her dog managed to escape and swim to shore uninjured. The cause was a driving error; further details are under investigation. The motorhome was recovered using a winch and tractor, with firefighters from Germany and Luxembourg responding.
