In Nesselwang (Bavaria) on Wednesday morning, a motorhome rolled into a creek. A 78-year-old woman had parked it at a gray water disposal point without engaging a gear or applying the handbrake. Due to the slope, the motorhome rolled away, hit another parked motorhome, left the road, and tipped onto its side into the creek. The senior was inside; firefighters freed her and took her to hospital with minor injuries. Harmful substances leaked into the creek, so firefighters deployed an oil barrier. Damage is estimated at €160,000; the woman faces a traffic violation proceeding.
