A four-day caravan camp was held in the Karadeniz Eregli district of Zonguldak province to mark the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Turkish Republic. The event involved 24 caravans and 3 tent groups, which set up camp on an open site in the Bali neighbourhood after taking part in the Republic Day parade. Eylem Ertugrul, an MP for Zonguldak from the New Party, visited the camp and heard requests and problems from participants. The organisers said the number of caravans in the region is rising and that they plan to hold such events more often.
