The FernwehCamp 2026 gathering took place in Stöffel Park with 207 vehicles, ranging from ground-tent campers and cyclists to expedition trucks and standard motorhomes. The event was organised by Benno and Steffi Cramer, Thorsten Schneider, Marina Weigel-Schneider, and Roger and Steffi Nies. The programme featured talks, including a short film by Robby Fuchs about crossing West Africa, and a presentation by Bruno Pillitteri on a motorcycle trip through Kyrgyzstan. More than 40 expedition trucks attended. The organisers donated 3,000 euros to the Balthasar children's and youth hospice in Olpe.
