From August 28 to September 6, 2026, the 65th Caravan Salon — the world's largest caravanning trade fair — will be held in Düsseldorf. Organizers expect around 270,000 visitors and more than 750 exhibitors (according to one source, around 800 in 15 halls, with Hall 9 closed for renovation). In 2025, the fair attracted 270,000 visitors from over 80 countries and 810 exhibitors.
In Hall 7, under the motto "Travel & Nature", 110 exhibitors from 17 countries will present travel destinations, camping guides and associations. The stage program includes talks by travelers, including Marc Broch about Iceland and Christine Recke about the Olav route (1115 km, 78 days), a cooking show and screenings of the European Outdoor Film Tour 2025. For the first time, two new themed areas will be presented: an off-road section in Halls 16 and 17 and a separate rooftop tent zone in Hall 7a. From August 31 to September 2, the "Destination Zukunft" conference will take place.

Market trends
Motorhome registrations rose by 1.4% (36,953 units in the first five months), while caravan registrations fell by 8.4% (8,785 units). Bürstner is completely ceasing caravan production from model year 2027, and Dethleffs is reducing its range. New products include all-wheel-drive motorhomes, enhanced self-sufficiency systems (solar panels, lithium batteries, gas-free), compact campers with a queen-size bed in a 6.36 m Fiat Ducatoⓘ and a pop-up roof on the Westfalia Columbus Liner.
