Former campsite in East Frisia goes to auction

On Friday in Mechtersheim (Rhineland-Palatinate), a white camper van damaged a parked car while leaving the lakeside parking lot and fled the scene. According to Speyer police, the incident occurred around 4:30 p.m., but the car owner only noticed the damage when she returned at 9:00 p.m. A witness saw the camper van hit the car and drive away. Damage is estimated in the four-figure range; police are asking for tips at 06232 1370.

IKEA has introduced the Strandön folding table, designed for outdoor use including camping, picnics, and beach trips.
