The German motorhome manufacturer Knaus Tabbert AG has accepted a fine exceeding six million euros from the Stuttgart public prosecutor's office. The penalty was imposed because the company had understated the weight of its motorhomes, a practice linked to the popular 3.5-tonne limit for standard driver's licenses. The company has made financial provisions for the fine, stating the payment will not significantly impact its annual results.
