New Ningaloo campsite booking system under review after website crashes

The West Australian government says a new booking system for campsites along the Ningaloo coast will be reviewed after the website crashed repeatedly upon launch. The system, intended to provide fairer access, opened six-month bookings at 10am on the first Tuesday of each month instead of midnight. In the first 24 hours, 5,500 people entered a queue, resulting in 2,000 bookings for 550 campsites.
