Coachmen RV has announced the RVEX electric camper van, built on the BrightDrop 600 chassis and the GM Ultium platform. The model has an indicative price of $150,000 and a claimed range of up to 435 km. Its powertrain consists of two electric motors with a combined output of 300 hp and a 172–173 kWh traction battery, with all-wheel drive. Fast charging for about an hour adds up to 258 km of range, but the actual result depends on the charging station output, which is most often 120 kW. For off-grid stays the RVEX is equipped with 1,000 W roof solar panels and an additional 48 V battery with a capacity of 1,000 Ah.

Coachmen RV, a Forest River division, has introduced the Origin hybrid motorhome on an E-350 or E-450 chassis. The 25–30 ft (about 7.6–9.1 m) model with a GVWR of 12,500–14,500 lbs (about 5,670–6,577 kg) has a rear drop-down platform with a 1,200 lbs (about 544 kg) limit and sleeping for six. Target retail price is $150,000.

Coachmen RV, a division of Forest River Inc., announced the launch of the new Remote 8 Wide Series, arriving in September 2026. The series expands on the 7 Wide lineup with three floorplans (198RBC, 228RBH, 238RRB), increased ground clearance, two 200-watt solar panels, a 52-gallon fresh water tank, 37-gallon gray and black tanks, and prep for Starlink and lithium-ion batteries. Owner Gerald Perea demonstrated towing a 2026 Coachmen Apex Nano 186BH travel trailer with a GVWR of 4,700 lbs and a length of 22 ft 11 in using a 2025 Toyota Tundra Platinum TRD Off-Road Hybrid with a factory 3-inch lift and i-FORCE MAX powertrain (437 hp, 583 lb-ft). The setup succeeds because the trailer's weight and dimensions stay within the truck's payload margin, not its maximum tow rating. The trailer lacks a slide, reducing weight and frontal area, and a properly sized 6,000-lb weight-distribution hitch maintains stability.

Coachmen RV, a division of Forest River, has partnered with Supersede to integrate the company's Marine Board composite decking into the floor structure of Coachmen Catalina travel trailers. The panels, made from recycled polypropylene, replace plywood or OSB and offer moisture and rot resistance along with reliable fastener retention. Coachmen claims this is the first use of composite decking in conventional travel trailers, and Supersede's buyback program enables recycling of offcuts and end-of-life panels.

Forest River Inc. announced leadership appointments in its Coachmen and Forest River Park Models divisions. Mike McIntire was named General Manager of Coachmen Class A, Nate Saunders became General Manager of Coachmen Class C, and Larry “Joe” Grandstaff was promoted to General Manager of Forest River Park Models. Dealerships in Cadillac, Michigan, will host a two-day public RV open house on April 17 and 18. The event will feature new and used models, including Coachmen and East To West brands, with show-level pricing and on-site manufacturer representatives.

American RV manufacturer Coachmen has revealed its first all-electric Class B motorhome, the RVEX. Built on a GM BrightDrop chassis, it features a 174 kWh battery pack providing an estimated range of 435 km (270 miles). Production is scheduled to start in 2026 with a target starting price around $150,000.
