Pilote is offering the compact low-profile P690D in the Evidence specification for the 2027 model year. It is the smallest but fully equipped entry among the four Evidence layouts in the Pacific range. The motorhome measures 7.02 metres long and 2.3 metres wide, with a maximum permissible weight of 3,500 kg, of which 360 kg is payload. It can be driven on a standard category B licence.
What is new
The P690D Evidence is based on a 140-hp Fiat Ducatoⓘ with automatic transmission. The all-inclusive Evidence package adds an awning, alloy wheels and a reversing camera as standard. For 2027 Pilote has redesigned the interior for more volume, with new upholstery, a new kitchen and a larger rear wardrobe.
Layout
The key to the layout is the absence of a fixed bed, which keeps the floor free for living during the day. At night a double bed and a second convertible bed underneath provide sleeping space for four. There are four belted seats. The bathroom runs across the full width of the vehicle: a cassette toilet and a small washbasin with storage on one side, a separate shower cubicle opposite, and free space between them that can be used as a dressing area. Above the spacious height-adjustable garage sits a large wardrobe with shelves on one side and hanging space on the other, plus extra drawers and direct access to the garage below.
