In 1980, Hymerⓘ launched the 650 BS on a Mercedes T1 chassis, featuring a fixed bed (200×140 cm) and a full wet bathroom with shower and chemical toilet — rare for its time. The motorhome included a 73-liter fridge, two gas burners, a Trumaⓘ gas heater, and separate fresh and waste water tanks. Originally priced at 65,470 German marks (about €33,470 in 2024), it now sells second-hand from around €7,900.
