The municipality of Zierbena (Biscay) has opened a new motorhome area in the La Arena district. The site has 30 pitches and features automated access, online booking, video surveillance and sustainable services.
Managed by TripStop under the La Arena Camper Park brand, the facility includes two eco-stations for grey and black water disposal, drinking water supply, electrical hook-ups on all pitches, lighting, landscaping and a picnic area. The area is equipped with a smart management system with automatic license plate access and 24/7 video surveillance.
Mayor Eugenio Mendikote said the project aims to strengthen Zierbena's position as a caravanning hub in the region. The municipality invested more than €400,000.
