First month of operation
The camper area in La Arena, in the municipality of Zierbena (Biscay), completed its first month with average occupancy of 89%. From 11 August to 10 September, 586 stays and 830 overnight stays were recorded. On average, 26 of 30 pitches were occupied each night (26.77).
Visitors
Average stay length was 1.41 nights. 56.1% of users came from abroad, mainly from Germany (15.6%), France (14.4%) and Italy (8.6%); visitors from 20 countries were registered in total.
Management and investment
The municipality invested more than 400,000 euros in the facility, managed by TripStop under the La Arena Camper Park brand.
