The authorities of the Italian city of Poggibonsi (also spelled Poggibonsi in some sources) will renovate the municipal camper area "Vallone" in 2026. The total project budget is €125,000, of which €90,000 comes from the municipality and €35,000 from state co-financing (according to sources, the ministry).
The works include marking of parking spaces, connection of utilities (water and electricity), and installation of a barrier with a payment or access control system. In parallel, the authorities are in talks with private companies about creating a larger paid area in a strategic zone.
