A couple travelling Europe by motorhome suspended their trip for four months to work at a hotel on Sardinia. Over three and a half years they visited 32 countries while keeping monthly costs under €1,000. Rising fuel prices and a weaker yen prompted them to seek income, with the job paying €1,400–2,000 per month. They lived in their motorhome at a nearby campsite paid for by the hotel and ate staff meals. The earnings are intended to fund the continuation of their journey.
