In Poggibonsi, Italy, renovation work has begun on the Vallone camper area. The investment totals €200,000, of which €36,000 comes from the Italian Ministry of Tourism.
The project includes 10 parking spaces, a picnic area, water and electricity supply points, lighting, video surveillance and controlled access. Some sources mention Wi-Fi, others do not. Management of the area will be assigned through a public tender. The municipality is also considering the creation of a larger private facility.
