Kayseri municipality has launched a tent and caravan campsite on Mount Erciyes at an altitude of 2,200 meters. Renting an 8-square-meter tent for 4 people costs 750 Turkish lira, renting a tent pitch costs 250 lira, and using a caravan spot costs 1,000 lira.
The campsite features showers, toilets, a children's playground, sports fields, and water and electricity connections. The caravan area offers water, electricity, waste disposal, shower, toilet, kitchen, refrigerator, stove, washing machine, and dryer. The season opened with warmer weather.
