Dmitry Popov, an expert from a working group under the Russian government, has proposed creating an urban campsite for motorhome tourists in St. Petersburg. He suggested a site with utility hookups could be located in Shushary near the metro station. The city's Parking Management Center said it plans to study the demand for such parking. Several motorhome campsites already operate in the city, including in Ozerki, Lisy Nos and Vasileostrovsky District, with overnight rates of 1,500–1,700 rubles.
