Demand for Chinese motorhomes in Russia grew by 300% over the past year. Budget models cost from 2 to 5 million roubles, while European equivalents start at 6–15 million roubles. More than 50 models are available, including pickup-based versions priced at around 10–11 million roubles. Category B is usually sufficient to drive a motorhome, but models with truck-like weight and dimensions require category C. St Petersburg plans to set up dedicated motorhome stopovers, with a pilot site on Tsitadelskoye Highway in Kronstadt.
