Writer Sydnee Chapman embarked on her first solo trip in a compact campervan, but heavy rain turned her campsite into a muddy bog, leaving the vehicle stuck. Neighbors' attempts to help with a small pickup also failed. A sheriff arrived at night to tow both vehicles, after passersby found mobile reception to call for help.
