A study by CamperDays found that traveling by motorhome in Germany, Sweden, Norway, and Iceland is 8–29% cheaper than combining a hotel and rental car. The largest savings were recorded in Germany (up to 29% in high season), where the average campsite cost is €37 per night versus €185 for a three-star hotel room. In Sweden and Norway, the benefit reaches 13–14% in summer, while in Iceland it remains a stable 10% year-round.
