Police in Vorarlberg offer free weighing of motorhomes and caravans

On the A13 motorway in Austria, at the Luegbrücke bridge, temporary rules ban motorhomes over 3.5 tonnes from the right lane. Violators face a €90 fine and possible re-routing with extra toll payment.

The campaign is organized by the traffic police together with ÖAMTC and ASFINAG. Overloading often goes unnoticed but affects vehicle stability and braking distance. Overweight vehicles will not be penalized during the event, with focus on prevention.
