Experts are reminding about safety rules for using gas heating in a motorhome or caravan while traveling. To prevent gas leaks in an accident, a crash sensor is required, as is, typically, a hose-break protection device (shut-off valve).
Gas appliances must not be used in enclosed spaces such as parking garages or garages, nor while refueling. Diesel heaters can be used without restrictions.
During winter use, a single 11-kilogram gas cylinder lasts 3–5 days for heating, cooking, and the refrigerator (at temperatures from -5 to +5 °C).
