The Vox municipal group will table a motion at the next full council meeting calling for a designated area for caravans and motorhomes in La Virreina peri-urban park in Malaga. Deputy spokesperson Yolanda Gómez said the car park lacks sewage, waste collection and basic services. Vox also wants tighter surveillance, controls and environmental inspections, citing a 2024 fire in the area. The party asks the city council to explain which technical and environmental reports support allowing the parking. Vox is requesting a specific study on whether the current use is compatible with the park's protection status.
