The Lynchburg, Tenn., Metro Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) will decide Aug. 18 whether developer Claude “Chip” Hayes III can build a campground and RV park on about 17 acres on Main Street. The application, filed by Retreat Construction LLC, lists Michael Nauta as project engineer. Campgrounds and travel trailer parks require a special exception in the A-1 Agriculture-Forestry District, and the BZA must issue findings on access, traffic safety, parking, and noise and odor impacts.
