In the Netherlands, the motorhome tax rate has increased from a quarter to half of the standard rate, raising annual costs by €1,000–1,200. Owners can temporarily suspend registration (€88.05 for motorhomes under 15 years, €29.10 for older ones) if parked on private property. Currently, over 55,000 motorhomes in the country are suspended, accounting for more than a quarter of the total fleet.
