In Tarifa (Cádiz), a conflict has escalated between motorhome and camper van owners, local residents and businesses due to a lack of infrastructure. Residents and businesses complain about the occupation of public space, littering and wastewater discharge, as well as the long-term stay of some tourists. Motorhome owners claim that most follow the rules and criticize high hotel prices. The town has only one motorhome area with 50 spaces and a 48-hour limit, plus three campsites that fill up quickly.
