The Polish Sejm is considering a bill to exempt motorhomes and motorhome + caravan combinations used for individual tourism from the electronic toll (e-TOLL). Public consultations are open until May 20, 2026. Currently, e-TOLL applies to vehicles and combinations over 3.5 tonnes GVW, placing heavier motorhomes and motorhome + caravan sets in the same category as commercial transport. The bill's authors note a paradox: a motorhome under 3.5 tonnes is exempt, but a passenger car towing a caravan may be charged if the combination exceeds 3.5 tonnes.
