Winnebagoⓘ has announced the ARKA (also referred to as ARKA 20Z), an expedition truck built on the Ram 5500 Tradesman Crew Cab 4×4 chassis with a 6.7L Cummins diesel engine (360 hp, 800 lb-ft) and an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The vehicle features a one-piece fiberglass body, 41-inch tires, a winch, and a 48-volt EcoFlowⓘ system with lithium-ion batteries up to 16.8 kWh, 800 W solar panels (expandable to 1200 W). Tanks: 60 gallons fresh water and 40 gallons gray water. GVWR is 19,500 lbs, towing capacity 15,000 lbs.
According to one source, the RV sleeps four; another says it seats six and sleeps four. Autonomy is stated as up to two weeks or 14 days. Operating temperature range: -23°C to 49°C. Fully equipped price is $331,901; pre-orders are open.
