In 2025, Italy recorded a 10.56% increase in new motorhome registrations compared to 2024, with used motorhome sales up 6.05%. Over 44,000 motorhomes (new and used) were purchased. However, rising fuel prices due to the US-Iran conflict have increased costs: for 5,000 km annual mileage, fuel expenses rose from €970 in 2025 to €1,050 in 2026; for 10,000 km, from €1,940 to over €2,100. Italy remains the third-largest motorhome producer in Europe after Germany and France, exporting over 80% of its output.
