According to the Italian Caravan and Motorhome Association (APC), new motorhome registrations in Italy grew by 10.56% in 2025 compared to 2024, while used motorhome transactions increased by 6.05%. Total sales of new and used motorhomes exceeded 44,000 units.
Data from ANSA shows new motorhome sales reached 21,500 units and used sales 23,000, with the total market value surpassing €2.5 billion. The Valdelsa region, which produces 85% of national leisure vehicles, contributed significantly to this result.
Italy is the third-largest motorhome producer in Europe, exporting over 80% of its output. The growth reflects a shift in Italian travelers' preferences toward autonomous travel.
