Swedish Kabe Novum Traq 750 LGB: first 4x4 semi-integrated motorhome on Mercedes Sprinter

Between May 18 and 24, six new businesses were registered in the municipalities of Jönköping, Vaggeryd, Habo and Mullsjö. Among them are Tenhults Fritidscenter AB, which will sell motorhomes and accessories, and Pinoy foods Jönköping AB, an Asian grocery store offering authentic products from the Philippines. One company, Effekta Tak AB, has filed for bankruptcy.

Swedish company KABE unveiled a prototype two-story caravan Imperial Tower 880 in 2017, featuring about 26 m² of living space and a roof terrace. Built as a one-off anniversary special for the brand's 60th birthday, series production is not expected. With a height of 4.48 m, it is close to oversize vehicle limits, making it suitable mainly for seasonal stationary use.

A motorhome valued at SEK 1.8 million was stolen from Holmgrens Fritid in Växjö on Friday evening. Police are asking for witnesses who may have seen two cyclists on Björnvägen between 18:40 and 18:47 — CCTV footage shows them near the crime scene.

Swedish singer Charlotte Perrelli, winner of Eurovision 1999, announced that she will spend the upcoming summer in a motorhome with her husband and two children. Despite owning several houses in Sweden and abroad, the family chose a motorhome for the Diggiloo tour. Perrelli said she plans to grill many evenings near the parked motorhome. The tour premiere is on July 9 in Kosta, close to her hometown Hovmantorp.

On Sunday, north of Lesjöfors (Filipstad municipality), a car collided with a caravan. The female driver was taken to hospital; the caravan was reduced to splinters. Traffic on roads 245 and 834 is affected.

In November 2025 in Gagnef municipality, a family discovered a stranger in their motorhome while picking it up from a workshop. The 19-year-old hid under a blanket but was detained by the owner's wife, a police officer. The court convicted him of home invasion but not burglary, as the door might have been open. He was also sentenced for car theft and driving without a license.
