The RV Shop to Host All-Women’s RVTI Level 1 Certification Training

The RV Shop will host a week-long, all-women’s RV Technical Institute (RVTI) Level 1 certification course at its New Castle, Delaware, location. Seven team members—two service writers, three customer service specialists, one technician, and the marketing and brand manager—will participate through a partnership with the RV Women’s Alliance. The curriculum covers seven systems and includes 32 labs and activities; certification requires passing written and skills-based exams. The initiative addresses the technician shortage and underrepresentation of women, who made up about 2% of RV technicians as of 2023, according to RVTI.
