RVTI Expands Tech Training and Launches Program in Pennsylvania School District

A 1998 Dodge Grand Caravan has been converted into a drift car. It features a 5.3-liter LS-based truck V8 with a twin-turbo setup sourced from eBay and a Tremec TKX-600 5-speed manual gearbox. The build is intended for track use, not street driving. Boost was set at 5 psi, with plans to increase it to 10 psi.

Claudio and Gabriela, an Argentinian and a Mexican, bought a motorhome worth about $50,000 and plan to drive from Kansas to New York, following the Argentine national football team at the 2026 World Cup. The couple says living in the motorhome is not expensive and is covered by Claudio's pension. They have already adapted to this lifestyle and make new friends at every stop.

Special correspondent Nolo Sánchez from Argentine outlet El Doce encountered a storm while traveling to Kansas for World Cup coverage. He received a tornado warning and captured footage of the weather from his motorhome.

Hernán Romero, a New York resident, drove 29 hours in a motorhome to Kansas City to attend World Cup matches. With a group of friends, he organized a pre-match party featuring drums, flags, asado, and Fernet. About 50 drummers from various states are expected to participate. Romero noted that a bottle of Fernet costs up to $45 in the US and advised bringing it from Argentina.

A 46-year-old man from Homeland, California, was arrested on June 12 after sheriff's deputies found a loaded shotgun, a .45 caliber handgun, and over a quarter pound of methamphetamine in his motorhome at Lake Piru Campground. The arrest followed a domestic disturbance call on June 11 and a subsequent search warrant. The suspect was booked on multiple felony charges including possession of a controlled substance for sale and unlawful firearm transfer, but was released on bail the same day. He is scheduled to appear in court on June 26.

The Goodrich City Council discussed expansion of an RV park, road conditions, and an alderman vacancy. Ponderosa RV Park was approved to expand to 100 RV-only sites, without tiny houses. Utility manager noted RVs use less water (about 30 gallons per person per day vs. 100-120 for houses). Potholes on Pennington Road and a grant application for wastewater ponds were also discussed.
