Polish manufacturer BusKamper is expanding its lineup with a version of the Albatros built on the Ford Transit L2H2 chassis. The premiere is scheduled for the Caravans Salon Poland 2026 show in Poznań on 15–18 October. The new version will offer an automatic transmission, an engine displacement of up to 2.0 litres (which maintains a lower excise duty when registered as a camper), and an optional 4×4 drivetrain. The vehicle length does not exceed 5.5 metres. Conversions can be carried out on both new and used chassis. Equipment includes a solar panel with over 400 W output and a Trumaⓘ Combi 4 gas heater with hot water, powered by an underfloor LPG tank. For registration in Germany, BusKamper has partnered with the DEKRA inspection network.
