From January 30 to February 2, 2026, the Japan Camping Car Show 2026 is being held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba. Several new caravan models made their debuts at the event.
Nomadoa — lightweight caravan for motorcyclists
Direct Cars presented its first lightweight caravan (trailer), the Nomadoa. Inspired by the KATANA series, it is designed for narrow roads. The caravan features a pop-up roof, a kitchen with a sink and stove, a refrigerator, foldable beds, and an optional air conditioner. Its key feature is a rear ramp for loading a small motorcycle. The concept is "Compact Nomadism."
Aquila360N — automotive-grade technology
Direct Cars also showcased the Aquila360N for the first time. Its body is made of aluminum using automotive stamping technology, enhancing rigidity and safety. Equipment includes smart windows with adjustable tinting, a power rear door, and automatic stabilizers. Inside, there is a U-shaped sofa.
RT-35T — safety and patented drawbar
Three Seven from Fukuoka, in collaboration with Lloyd's, developed the RT-35T caravan. Built from scratch to Japanese standards, it focuses on weight distribution and 3D aerodynamic calculations. In December 2025, a patent was granted for the folding A-frame drawbar mechanism, which reduces the trailer's overall length by 900 mm when parked.
