Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the updated Marco Polo camper for the 2027 model year. The key change is a pop-up roof made of double-layer aluminum, which improves thermal insulation and strength while increasing interior height by 10 cm. The height of the rear hatch has been increased by 100 mm, expanding the living space.
Heating, refrigerator, and audio system controls are centralized via a touchscreen or app. The engine lineup includes turbo-diesels with 163, 190, and 237 hp, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Production has been moved to the Ludwigsfelde plant, where Mercedes now handles the conversion entirely in-house. The price has not been announced.
