Lux Form has presented a compact motorhome built on the Lada 4×4. The vehicle keeps four-wheel drive, a low-range gearbox and a five-speed manual transmission. The living module is designed for two people.
Dimensions and mechanics
The half-frame structure of the off-roader allowed the overall length to grow to almost 4.8 metres. Width is 1.75 metres and height is 2.7 metres. The rear suspension was reinforced with leaf springs to raise payload and stability. Under the bonnet remains the standard 1.7-litre petrol engine with 83 hp.
Equipment
The sleeping area is a transformer that converts quickly into a kitchen zone. The hob is offered both built-in and removable. A 70-litre built-in fridge has a freezer compartment, and separate compartments are provided for food and dishes. Inside there is a bio-toilet and a shower tray with an acrylic coating, plus space for a cassette toilet and a 5-litre boiler. Fresh water is stored in two tanks of 70 and 40 litres.
Price
The base version starts at 1.6 million roubles, and the maximum-specification version costs about 2.1 million roubles. Lux Form has previously built living modules on the UAZ Patriot pickup chassis, as well as campers based on the Lada Granta and the «Bukhanka».
