Camping-Car Magazine has published a video recap featuring five motorhomes from the Salon des Véhicules de Loisirs (SVDL) at Paris-Le Bourget. The selection includes: the Niesmann+Bischoff Arto 88, a premium integrated motorhome on a 150 hp Mercedes Sprinter base with extensive customisation; the Florium Baxter 69 LJG, a compact 6.99 m coachbuilt model with twin rear beds and a 100 Ah lithium battery as standard; the Benimar Amphitryon A981, an integrated motorhome that replaces the traditional rear bedroom with a large modular lounge; the Hymer GT-S 600 Stone Edition, a 7.09 m coachbuilt model on a 170 hp Mercedes Sprinter base; and the Hobby Prestige T 740 WE, featuring a full-width rear bathroom and twin beds on a Fiat Ducato base. The next edition of the SVDL is scheduled for 25 September to 3 October 2027 at the Paris-Le Bourget exhibition centre.

Benimar has unveiled the integrated motorhome Amphitryon A981. At 5.98 m long, 2.34 m wide and 2.95 m high, it is the most compact motorhome in its category. Instead of a traditional rear bedroom with a fixed bed, the rear houses a kitchen and bathroom side by side, freeing a continuous living space from the cab to the centre. Sleeping arrangements include a convertible L-shaped lounge (206 x 150/121 cm) and a drop-down bed above the cab (190 x 140 cm). The motorhome is built on a Fiat Ducato chassis with a 2.2-litre diesel engine producing 140 hp (160 and 180 hp options, the latter only with automatic transmission). Equipment includes a two-burner hob, a sink with extendable tap, a 150-litre compressor fridge and a 4,000 W Truma diesel combined heater with altitude kit, controlled via iNet X. Price from €79,900. The absence of a rear garage may limit carrying bulky gear.

At the 2026 Leisure Vehicles Show, Benimar presented the Kaleo K640, a semi-integrated motorhome with a transverse bed, identified as the cheapest motorhome with a habitation body exhibited (excluding campervans and vans). The price of €56,480 is a special show offer that includes the Onroad pack worth €5,990 and a €2,500 discount; the base price is €52,990. The model is based on a Citroën Jumper 140 hp chassis, measures 6.30 m long and 2.32 m wide, has 4 registered seats, and features a transverse bed, drop-down bed, dinette bed, separate shower, two-burner hob, 150-litre fridge, and a bike garage. According to the publication, the Kaleo K640 is €3,000 cheaper than its closest competitors.

Spanish manufacturer Benimar has announced a new entry-level Kaleo motorhome range at the Düsseldorf Caravan Salon, positioned below its Tessoro and Mileo lines. The flagship Kaleo K640 is built on a Citroën Jumper chassis with a 2.2-litre BlueHDI diesel engine producing 140 hp, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox (an eight-speed automatic is optional). It measures 630 cm long, 232 cm wide and 289 cm high, with a maximum authorised weight of 3,500 kg. Standard equipment includes LED daytime running lights, lane-keeping assist, traffic sign recognition, autonomous city braking, cruise control, dual airbags, tyre pressure monitoring, 15-inch wheels, swivel seats, air conditioning, a 22 A lithium-compatible battery charger and rear parking sensors. The interior features a transverse rear bed for two adults, an optional single bed over the lounge, a separate bathroom with shower, a two-burner kitchen, stainless steel sink and a compressor fridge with freezer.

Two motorhomes were stolen from Moelv Bil og Caravan in Jovik. Surveillance cameras captured three masked individuals. Police seek witnesses.

At Caravan Salon 2026 in Düsseldorf, six integrated motorhomes for the 2027 model year were presented with unconventional designs. Manufacturers from Spain, France, Italy and Germany are deliberately moving away from the classic white look to stand out in a saturated market. The new models include: Benimar Amphitryon A981 (from 79,990 euros, Fiat Ducato, 180 hp, length 5.98 m), Frankia Noctra Liner 7.6 L (from 157,900 euros, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, length 7.80 m), Mobilvetta K-Yacht Tekno Design (from 144,900 euros, Fiat Ducato, length 7.56 m), Mooveo INT-78 QBF Alko (from 88,867 euros, Fiat Ducato, length 7.89 m), Pilote Galaxy G740FGJ (from 87,900 euros, Fiat Ducato, length 7.59 m) and Roller Team Zefiro 287 (from 86,440 euros, Power Edition from 91,490 euros, Fiat Ducato, 140 hp, length 7.45 m).

At the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, Benimar unveiled the Tessoro 443, a 6.99-metre motorhome with a 140 cm transverse rear bed, L-shaped lounge and kitchen, and a drop-down double bed over the lounge. It is powered by a 165 hp Ford engine and is available with the new Stormline pack, which adds Grey Matter paint, a black grille and front bumper, grey exterior body panels and specific exterior decor. The base price of the Tessoro 443 starts at around €66,000 excluding promotions and registration tax; with the Stormline pack, the price can approach €80,000.

Benimar has unveiled the new Amphitryon A981, which breaks with current trends by placing the kitchen and bathroom entirely in the rear of the vehicle. This creates a spacious living area from the cab to the middle of the body. The model features an L-shaped kitchen with ample worktop, a 150-liter refrigerator, a bathroom with separate shower, and two sleeping areas: a drop-down bed and a convertible seating group. The base price is €79,990.

The new Benimar Yrteo Y881, based on the Ford Transit, was presented at the Düsseldorf Caravan Salon. It measures 5.99 m in length, 2.14 m in width, and 2.89 m in height. The L-shaped lounge seats six, with sleeping accommodation for four adults. A garage with 116 cm of height is included. Engine options are a 130 hp diesel or a 165 hp diesel (optional), with manual or automatic transmission. The expected price is around €60,000.

It includes a garage, a bathroom with separate shower, a bedroom with a 150×195 cm bed, and an additional bed in the lounge. Dimensions are 7.41 m long, 2.3 m wide, 2.89 m high, with a maximum weight of 3500 kg. The base version with a 140 hp diesel engine starts at €71,000, with an optional 180 hp engine and automatic transmission.

At its Granda factory, Central Lechera Asturiana awarded a Benimar Mileo motorhome to Ignacio Arévalo Mateo from the Basque Country, winner of the 'Gana una autocaravana' promotion.

New Zealand motorhome retailer and manufacturer TrailLite has launched its first fully New Zealand-built motorhome, directly challenging the European brands that dominate the market. Founded 72 years ago, TrailLite also offers motorhomes and campervans from brands such as Benimar, Mobilvetta and McLouis. The company's revenue has nearly doubled over the past decade following a post-Covid boom.

Benimar has introduced the Tessoro Storm Line, a semi-integrated motorhome built on the Ford Transit chassis instead of the Fiat Ducato. The vehicle is nearly seven meters long. The bed measures 1.98 meters in length and 1.40 meters in width, with sleeping space for four adults. The Storm Line package, which includes a Raptor-style grille, black alloy wheels, and decorative decals, costs €2,000. It is only available with the Northautokapp package for €10,000, adding improved heating, insulation, a more powerful engine (165 hp), and an automatic transmission.

Spanish motorhome manufacturer Benimar has unveiled a comprehensive update for its 2027 range, now comprising seven families: Amphitryon, Mileo, Tessoro, Yrteo, Sport, Benivan, and the new entry-level Kaleo series. Built on the Citroën Jumper chassis, Kaleo offers three low-profile floorplans and one overcab version, targeting budget-conscious buyers. All models feature ADAS systems compliant with GSR II regulations and Truma iNet X Pro for smartphone control. The company also introduced lighter PET structural materials and maintains ISO 14001 certification.
