Knaus has announced a new caravan series, Nordwind, designed for year-round travel. The model is positioned above the Südwind line. Depending on the source, it is referred to as Nordwind 2026 or 2027, but both describe similar features.
Three floor plans are available: 600 UE with twin beds, 660 UDF with a French bed, and 660 PXB with a king bed and lounge area. According to one source, the 660 PXB has a full-width bathroom, while the 660 UDF has a corner bathroom. All versions feature Alde water heating, heated floor, and insulated double floor. Standard equipment includes aluminum window frames, a compressor refrigerator, and a hybrid hob.
The caravans are built on a 2.5-meter-wide chassis with a gross weight of up to 2500 kg and, presumably, a tandem axle. Also mentioned are an insulated 40-liter waste water tank and protected water pipes. The premiere of the production models is scheduled for the Caravan Salon Düsseldorf 2026.
