Corner bed, cut-off bed, longitudinal double bed, side double bed
A French bed is a lengthwise double bed along one side of a motorhome, often with a cut-off corner beside the washroom or corridor.
It saves body length in compact coachbuilt motorhomes but gives access from only one side, so one sleeper may need to climb over the other.
